Chakki Chalan (Running a grinding wheel)


1. Straighten your legs full length. Keep a suitable distance between heels.

2. Make the finger lock and rotate the joined hands making a big circle horizontally in air. Lean forward with exhalation, (try to advance finger lock beyond toes) and lean maximum towards back with inhalation.

3. Try to keep hands straight, don’t allow them to bend at the elbows. Try to lean by the belt line, keeping back straight. Also take care that while leaning backward, heels keep on touching the floor.

4. Make 10 such round with rotation of hands in clockwise direction and another 10 in reverse. Perform smoothly and avoid jerks.

5. Relax with deep inhalation through nostrils and slow exhalation through mouth, head slightly tilted back. Let breathing and heart beats come to normal.
